PDP leading in Taraba as last LGA results are expected

While the result of the remaining local government, Sardauna, is being awaited and with the cancellation of Donga results, the APC candidate, Senator Aisha Jummai Alhassan is trailing her PDP counterpart as she polled 234, 032 votes versus the PDP candidate, Arch. Darius Ishaku, who has polled 297, 552 votes.
The collation center is expected to resume from its recess by 12:00pm Monday to receive the results of Sardauna and announce the winner of the election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission has released results of Saturday's governorship election in fifteen out of the sixteen local government areas of the state.
The Commission however cancelled the results of Donga local government area due to alleged widespread irregularities reported by the electoral officer for the local government.
In the results released so far APC polled 23,263 votes in Bali local government while PDP polled 13,314 while in Ussa, APC scored 12,772 while PDP polled 13,229.
APC polled 21,023 votes in Karim Lamido while PDP polled 36,445 votes just as APC scored 16,268 votes in Wukari and PDP 64, 603.
In Kurmi local government, APC polled 3,759 voted while PDP polled 17,369 votes while in Ibi, APC polled 14,859 votes and PDP scored 5,564 votes.
APC polled 13,306 in Takum local government while PDP polled 26,979 while APC polled 37,714 votes in Jalingo and PDP polled 19,047 votes and in Ardo-Kola, APC polled 13,042 votes while PDP polled 14,041 votes.
In Lau, APC polled 13,096 votes while PDP polled 20,598 votes while APC polled 42,888 votes in Gassol and PDP 12,527 votes just as APC polled 5,224 votes in Zing and PDP 28,005 votes.
APC polled 6,936 votes in Yorro while PDP polled 18,696 votes while in Gashaka, APC polled 9,882 votes to PDP's 7,120 and in Donga, APC polled 10,087 votes while PDP polled 37,069 votes.
However, the state agent for PDP, Mr. Reno Usman kicked against the cancellation of results from Songs which the returning officer for the local government, Mallam Al-Isah Sanusi claimed was marred by violence and snatching of electoral materials in five polling units.
The PDP agent had insisted that the results of the five polling units should be cancelled rather than cancelling the entire results of the entire council but he was overruled by the state returning officer, Prof. Muhammed Kyari who equally maintained that the entire local government results be cancel led.
