The All Progressive Congress has taken a new dimension in the history of politics in the country as they made all the Presidential aspirants under the umbrella of the party to sign a binding agreement with the leadership of the party that they won't decamp to another political party if they fail to emerge as the party candidate.
Also, by the agreement, the aspirants have accepted to abide by the
rules and regulations of the party as it affects the conduct of the
presidential primaries.
The extraction of the written agreement from aspirants came just as the
party said it would go ahead to hold the December 10 presidential
convention/primaries in Lagos despite protest registered by three
aspirants, former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Kano Governor, Rabiu
Kwankwaso and Imo Governor, Rochas Okorocha.
