The truth about Jonathan's Visit to Maiduguri revealed

Following the refusal of the Presidency to visit the troubled regions in the North where Boko Haram insurgency has become the order of the the day, it has being revealed that the visit of President Goodluck to Maiduguri was designed to prepare the ground for Mr. Jonathan’s campaign in the troubled Northeast region beginning next week. This is contrary to claims by the Presidency that President Goodluck Jonathan made a surprise visit to Maiduguri, on Thursday to sympathize with troops and displaced people in the region.
The visit which was planned by the President's campaign group to wet the ground for the Party to canvass for the people's vote during its campaign in Borno which is scheduled for January 24. The source which prefer to remain anonymous said that the president was advised to try and make at least one non-political visit to the region to shut up critics,” one of our sources said. “Everyone agreed that taking campaigns to the zone without this kind of initial visit might expose the President to ridicule. That’s essentially why he visited today, and I’m telling you this authoritatively.
With the visit by the President, it is believed that the people of Borno state will warmly receive the  the President and the PDP campaign group when they go for campaign.
